International Solidarity

Given the fact that “poverty (economically but also socially, culturally, …) is increasing throughout the world [1]” and that “ globalization increases the interdependence between human beings, the state and economies [2]”, international solidarity consists in taking into account the reality of these inequalities, in the understanding of the causes and in acting to fight against those inequalities.
Everyone can be involved: public authorities, territorial collectivity, companies, medias, labor unions, associations, … Every citizen is involved” [3].
In other words, “international solidarity is :
• A rational action aiming at creating changes in individual and collective behaviors
• A political action aiming at making international politics’ rules fairer
• A necessity for everyone as it is the condition for a fairer world ! [4]”.
